Dog Licenses

All dogs over the age of three (3) months that reside within the city must be licensed and have the license tag affixed to their collar at all times. Licenses are effective June 1 through May 31. All dog licenses are half price during the month of May.

Cat Licenses

All cats over the age of three (3) months that reside within the city must be licensed. Licenses are effective June 1 through May 31.

Release (Owner Surrender) $30 per animal
$60 per litter (of 3 or more)
Owner-Requested Pickup $35 + applicable fees
Euthanasia $40 per animal
Quarantine (10-day period) $165 per animal
Violation $30 for first-time violation
$60 for second violation within a year
$100 for third violation within a year
Microchip Implant (Home Again) $21.23 + tax per animal
