The “Pride of Pocatello” will be paying a visit to the Gate City.
Friday, October 16, 2015 the A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from the Idaho Air National Guard’s 124th Fighter Wing will be stopping by the Pocatello Regional Airport to help dedicate another A-10 as the “Pride of Chubbuck.”
The ceremony is set to begin at 11 a.m. at the Pocatello AvCenter and the public is invited to attend.
“The A-10 is an amazing aircraft and has faithfully served our country since 1976,” said Pocatello Regional Airport Manager David Allen. “It’s not very often that you get a chance to get a look at this wonderful machine up close and personal so I encourage everyone to stop in.”
The “Pride of Pocatello” was dedicated earlier this summer and is the wingman for the soon to be dedicated “Pride of Chubbuck.”
