Once Abandoned Trail Now Open, Zoo Idaho Connection Trail

How cool is this!!!! This trail was abandoned over a decade ago and a City employee stumbled upon it and decided it needed to be used once more.

Brett Lopez with the Parks Department then spent the next two days clearing out the overgrown brush and creating a dirt trail to connect the now Zoo Idaho Connection Trail to the AMI Greenway Trail. The abandoned trail is paved, has four benches, and has nature observation loops along with a breathtaking view at the end!!!

To find the trail, walk down the AMI trail and you will see a dirt path on your right, this path will take you to the once-abandoned trail.

Nice work Brett!
Go check it out today!!!
