Tuesday, September 5, Pocatello Regional Airport will be hosting a ribbon cutting by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Chiefs to celebrate the first arrival of the new second daily flight on Delta Air Lines. The new flight will expand service to Salt Lake City by providing a larger aircraft with premium seating options as well as an additional flight time.
“We are excited to welcome the second daily flight between Pocatello and Salt Lake City. The increase in frequency provides the convenience of shorter layovers and the change in aircraft provides greater on-board comfort including a first-class cabin. We invite the community to join us at the ribbon cutting and help us welcome the new flight,” said Airport Manager, Alan Evans.
Public and media are invited to attend the event beginning at 12:15 p.m. with the ribbon cutting taking place at approximately 12:44 p.m. upon the landing of the flight. Members of the media who would like to take footage of the incoming aircraft should meet in the Airport Manager’s Office at 12:15 and will be escorted to a viewing area.
The Pocatello Regional Airport is accessible to persons with disabilities. Program access accommodations may be provided with two (2) days’ advance notice by contacting Skyler Beebe at sbeebe@pocatello.gov; 208.234.6248; or 5815 South 5th Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho.
