Public Works staff members will present information to the Council regarding the American Rescue Plan Act and will seek direction from the Council concerning projects to be funded with ARPA funds. (ACTION ITEM)
Neighborhood and Community Services Division staff members will present proposed changes to the existing locally adopted policies and procedures for the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The changes are necessary to ensure compliance with all federal HUD guidelines as well as any applicable state and local regulations. Formal adoption of the amended CDBG Policies and Procedures will take place at a future Regular City Council meeting. (ACTION ITEM)
Planning and Development Services staff members will be in attendance to discuss proposed updates to Pocatello City Code Title 17- Zoning Regulations. (ACTION ITEM)
Heather Buchanan, Human Resources Director and AJ Argyle, GBS Benefits, will present a new program offered by Blue Cross of Idaho for medical plan participants. The proposed changes would be a mid-year plan change with no cost increase to the existing plan. The adjustment will not change prior authorization of prescription medications, but could potentially modify how the prescription plan covers certain medications. (ACTION ITEM)
Michael Covato, representing Bird Scooters, will share a presentation regarding Bird Scooters’ desire to move operations to Pocatello. Mr. Covato will give an overview of the plan and answer questions from Council.
